*Next Day At School*

When Jessie walked around the corner, she saw Katie and some girl she's never seen before, laughing and talking. And that made her somewhat jealous. Although, she's the one that broke it off with her. It still hurt to see her with someone else.

When Katie saw Jessie come around the corner she told Ashley to just play along with her, although Ashley was kind of confused, she did it anyway.  Katie felt really betrayed and hurt when Jessie told her off. It hurt more than anything ever had before. So she decided to hurt Jessie back by pretending she was enjoying Ashley's presence, and it seemed to be working.  She saw Jessie roll her eyes and hurry off.

At lunch Katie sat back with her friends and was trying really hard not to look Jessie's way, but she couldn't help it.  Jessie kept looking at Katie and sometimes they would make eye contact but then they would immediately look down or look the other way.

*Manning House*

When Jessie got home from school, she went straight up to the attic, closed the door, and lied on her bed and started crying. How could she have messed this up? Everything was going so right, but she fucked it all up. God dammit. Well, that's it. She had to do something about it, and right away. Right when she was about to go downstairs, someone knocked on her door.

"Come in"

She was surprised to see who walked in, but there she was standing right in front of her looking hot as always.  "Hey" Katie said.

"Oh, hey" Katie was the last person Jessie expected to see standing in her room.  They stood there for quite sometime until Jessie broke the silence.

"Look, Katie. I'm really sorry for everything. I was just really confused, and upset. And seeing you with that girl today made me realize that I really care about you. And I want to be your friend again, and if you'll let me, maybe one day even more." Jessie said with fear, sadness, and hope in her voice.

Katie just stared at her speechless, so Jessie took that as a bad reaction.   "Katie....I'm really sorry. Will you please forgive me. I want to make this better. I really do." Jessie whispered tears starting to form Katie walked over to Jessie and took her in her arms.

"Jessie.." she whispered "We will work this out. I am a forgiving girl, don't worry. I really care about you too. I just don't want you to do anything your not ready for, or your not comfortable with, that's all. But I promise, we will work this out ok. We will."

When they were done hugging and crying and expressing their feelings to each other, they went over to Jessie's bed and talked for hours and kissed a couple times.

Eli came in to get Jessie for dinner without knocking, and saw Jessie and Katie in a passionate kiss. He dropped the cd player he was holding. That caused Katie and Jessie to turn around, and blush deeply.  "Uh...Jess, It's time for dinner. Um...I guess Katie can stay over too, I guess." Eli said shocked before he turned around and headed out the door quickly.

*At the dinner table*

Eli, Katie, and Jessie sat at the table very quiet neither of them saying a word.   After dinner Jessie and Eli decided to talk in the garage.

*Garage*

"So are you two dating?" Eli asked uncomfortable.

"Yeah" Jessie said "she's my girlfriend"

"Oh" Eli said standing up and moving around his room.

"Eli please don't tell anyone" Jessie said "I will tell everyone when I'm ready" She got up off the bed and headed back inside where Katie was waiting in Jessie's room.

*Attic*

"So what happened?" Katie asked.

"I told him that we are dating and he promised he wouldn't say anything."

"Oh" Katie said sounding a little disappointed "do you not want people to know about us?"

"Katie its not that I don't want people to know about us its just..."   Before she could finish there was a knock on the door.

"Come in" Jessie yelled

"Hey Jess" her dad said

"Hey"

"Lily, Zoë, and I are going to go to Judy's. You and Katie wanna come along?"

"Nah that's ok I think we'll stay here.  Grace and Eli will be here right?"

"No, Grace is going over to a friends house and Eli has rehearsal with the band.   So will you be ok by yourselves?"

"Yeah we'll be fine."

"Ok, bye sweetie"

"Bye" Jessie said kissing her dad bye.

Jessie looked back at Katie who looked kind of upset and was looking down at her feet, sitting on the bed. Jessie walked over to her and put her hand on Katie's cheek, and started to caress it.  Katie looked up at Jessie.  Jessie leaned down and kissed Katie with a passionate kiss.  Katie tried to stand up so Jessie could get comfortable, but Jessie just fell on top of Katie.  They broke apart so they could breathe, then Katie leaned up and kissed Jessie. This time their kiss was more romantic, more passionate.  Jessie started to slide her hand up Katie's shirt and Katie pulled away.

"Jess are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes I want this. I want you Katie"

"I want you too Jessie"
