*Attic*

After Jessie left from listening to Katie and Grace's conversation, she left to go find a blanket and a pillow so she could sleep on the floor. It's not like she took what they were talkin about seriously It's just, well, it kinda freaked her out in a way that was well, freaky. So while she was setting up her stuff on the floor, Katie came in looking at her with a confused expression.

"Jess, what are you doing?" Katie asked.

"Uh, well you see, I'm just.. well you know, since your the guest you should have the bed. I'll take the floor." Jessie replied aawkwardly.

Katie was confused. "Well can't we just share the bed?" katie asked.

"NO!" Jessie shouted that made Katie feel hurt. When she saw Katie's face, she felt horrible. "I just mean. I usually roll around so, I'd probably end up falling off the bed anyway. So I just figured, I'd save myself from that." Said Jessie in one breath

"Uh, ok" Katie said finally relaxing.

So, Jessie lied on the floor and Katie lied on the bed. They laid there thinking about each other until Jessie finally spoke up.  "Look, Katie. I'm sorry for getting weird on you before. It's just, I heard what you and Grace were talking about when you left to go to the bathroom" Jessie said whispering out the last part.

"Oh." Was all Katie could manage to get out.

So, they just lied there until Jessie came over to the bed and saw Katie crying.   "Aww, Katie don't cry" Jessie said wiping the tears from Katie's face.

"Im sorry Jess" Katie whispered out between sobs.

"Shh, it's ok. We'll work this out tomorrow ok?" Jessie said.

"Ok" Katie replied.  Jessie climbed into bed next to Katie, and they fell asleep holding each other.

*Next Morning*

 It was 10 o'clock in the morning and the girls were still sleeping upstairs. So Lily said for Grace to go wake them up. As Grace walked into Jessie's room. She saw them sleeping holding one another, which she thought was the cutest thing. So she tiptoed over to Jessie's side of the bed and..."JESSIE WAKE UP!!" Grace screamed in Jessie's ear, to which she bolted right up, causing Katie to fall hard on the floor with a thump.   "Ouch!" Katie yelled.

"Oh God. Sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to.." Jessie said looking over at Grace giving her the most evil look, which made Grace back up slowly.

"Now, now. Don't do anything you may regret later" Grace said defensively

"Oh, don't worry. I won't regret it." Jessie said glaring at her again.    Which made Grace run away with fear.

Katie was still sitting on the floor, but she was laughing now "Go Jess. I bet you could scare the shit out of people with that look" Katie said laughing.

Jessie blushed with embarrassment "Yeah" Jessie said.  "Here let me help you up" Said Jessie as she walked over and helped Katie to her feet.  So now Jessie was sitting and Katie was standing right in front of her. They were both staring at each other admiringly. They stayed like that for quite some time until Katie broke the silence.

"Look, Jessie. What Grace was saying yesterday was all a big joke. We were just kiddin around. None of it was serious stuff ok?" Katie said, never making eye contact with Jessie.

"None of that stuff was true?" Jessie asked, with a hint of disappointment in her voice causing Katie to look up at her.  ~*Did I just sound disappointed*~ Jessie thought to herself.

"Uh yeah none of it was true" Katie said noticing the disappointment in the other girl's voice.

"Ok. Well let's go downstairs and eat, and we'll figure the rest of this out later ok honey?" Jessie asked.  ~*Crap, did I just call her honey?*~

~*Did she just call me honey?*~  "Uh, ok." Katie replied and she couldn't help but smile at Jessie's comment. So as Jessie stood up she took Katie's hand and dragged her downstairs.

*Kitchen*

Grace saw the two girls coming in the kitchen and she noticed they were holding hands. "Oooo, look, they're holding hands" Grace said.  Jessie quickly let go of Katie's hand and shot Grace another death glare.  "Ok, ok backing off now." Grace said holding up her hands and got back to doing what she was doing before.

"Sorry. I forgot to let go." Katie whispered obviously disappointed with herself.

"Oh, it's ok. Don't worry. It's fine...totally fine." Jessie said giving Katie a reassuring smile.  Katie shot a smile back at her. Jessie actually felt safe when she was holding Katie's hand. Which was kind of weird. Well, she's never really held anyone's hand before, but it felt good.

*Grace's Room*

Grace was making her bed when Katie walked in.  "Hey grace" Katie said.

Grace turned around hearing the girl's voice "Oh hey Katie. How'd you sleep last night?" Grace said suggestively.

Katie blushed "Shut up"

"Oh, come on. I saw you two sleeping together this morning. It looked like you just finished..."

"Don't finish that sentence" Katie said quickly interrupting Grace.

"Oh, come on. I'm just playing"

"I know. And that's exactly what got me in to trouble last night"

"Ohhh, so because of what we were talking about you didn't get to do anything illegal" Grace said

"Grace shut up!" Katie said, her cheeks were flaming red

"Sorry. I'm bad aren't I?"

"Yeah, whatever. It's almost 12:30. I have to get going soon. So, I'll see you and your mouth on Monday. Bye Grace"

*Driveway*

 Right when Katie was about to drive away, Jessie came running out.   "Katie?"

Katie opened the door "Yeah" she asked.

"Um, thanks for comin over. I had a good time. We should do it again sometime" Jessie said shyly

"Sure thing Jess. I have all the time when it comes to you" Right when Katie said this Jessie leaned up and kissed Katie. It was a short but sweet and meaningful kiss.

"Uh, sorry" Was all Jessie could say before she ran inside.

~*Wow*~ Katie thought. And then she took off.
