PART 10

here's some background on miss singer's new boss.

jazz is every boy's worst nightmare, or their best, depending on how you look at it. if the thought of two gorgeous girls gettin' it on turns you on, then it could be every man's best dream, but if they stole that girl from your still warm arms, then, your worst nightmare. jazz had the charisma & smooth-talking skills to outbeat any pro. still in her prime at twenty-five, this five foot eight inch, raven haired goddess from the city, had quite a record in the bedroom. she attended the university of chicago & graduated with honors in just three years with a degree in buisness & finance. jazz was going to make it on her own terms. fully aware of her perfectionism & need to be in control, she knew opening & running her own buisness was the way to go. for as long as she could remember, literature & music had been her passions. why not use that to her advantage? so fresh out of school, she took out a loan from a local bank & started looking for the perfect spot for a book/music store venture to call her own. when jess was just starting middle school, about 4 or 5 years ago, the store was in place. from the moment she walked through the doors of the once abandoned warehouse in the heart of downtown, jazz was captivated. understanding very well that jess was off limits, she couldn't help deny the amazing feeling of being alive & happy whenever jess was around. jazz hadn't always been so outgoing & spunky. she grew up sheltered & "well-kept" as her mother would always say. but as soon as this young girl, she graduated at the tender age of sixteen, stepped foot on campus, it was like going from night to day. the once shy & secluded girl turned into the unapologetic & sassy young woman she is today. never once did she regret that change. it wasn't unexpected either. the "bad girl" inside was just waiting to burst out & shed some light on other possibilities. the college years led to an appetite of frilly pink drinks & any girl that would give jazz a second look. this began to wear away at the inner hopeless romantic, just dying to find that one special girl to love for the rest of her life, but it seemed hopeless to believe that the one she was meant to spend the rest of her life would even be willing to play for the same team. all the games stopped the day innocent little jessie walked into jazz's life. even though jazz never tried to tell jess how she felt, the bittersweet mix of passion & pain swirled around inside. jess hasn't been to the store for a few months now, making the pain that much worse. knowing the object of your desire will never look at you the same way you see them may be heart-breaking, but so is never being able to see the one you long to hold...
