Rating: few curse words thrown in. Nothing to bad. Overall
it's PG,
borderline PG-13.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything except the angst. Or at least
my own anyway.
Author's Notes: I am new to Katie/Jessie shipperism. So I write
this as my
delurker ticket to the group. Hopefully you guys enjoy. It's pretty sappy.
Haha, I'm a hopeless romantic.

PART 1
Jessie trudged forward letting her feet guide her as she tiredly made her
way to her father's restaurant. It had been a long day at school. Finals
were coming up and she had been up all night studying. It was hard to get
through her classes without collapsing on the desk at any opportune time
that she felt like. In a zombie like state, she mused to herself that she
could probably make this journey from school to the restaurant with her eyes
closed, which she desperately wanted to do at the moment. 'One day I'm going
to master the art of sleeping while standing,' she jokingly thought to
herself. She shut her eyes briefly. When she opened them she noticed someone
walking towards her, and slightly off balance she tried to veer away from
them. But in her drunken-like state of sleepiness, she only managed to trip
on her own feet as her books flew in every direction and papers scattered
everywhere. The person who had been coming toward her quickly caught her
with a cat like grace in which she knew that she would never be able to
muster even if she tried. Caught in the stranger's embrace she blushed
furiously, "Oh my god! I am sooo sorry. I'm such a klutz."
The girl chuckled slightly, "it's okay. I'm always up to saving a damsel in
distress." She pulled back slightly and stared in awe at the, 'damsel' in
question. She was one of the most beautiful girl's she had ever seen. She
caught herself staring and blushed slightly. She quickly hid herself behind
her long hair and bent down to pick up the other girl's papers. Jessie
followed. Together they quickly picked all of them up and Katie fumbled to
her feet. "Oh gosh, where are my manners. Name's Singer. Katie Singer." She
held out her hand.
But the other girl wasn't looking at her. She looked at the restaurant
across the street, which was proudly labeled, "Singer's" and then quickly
looked up towards the sign of the restaurant that they were both standing in
front of, "Sammler." Her eyes darted back and forth between both signs
before settling on the girl and then to the girls extend hand. Katie was one
of the most beautiful girl's she has ever seen. Her stomach was doing
flip-flops from just the proximity of the other girl. She sighed and took
the other girls hand to shake it, "Nice to meet you Katie Singer." With
that, she turned and walked into the family restaurant.
Both girls were still marveling at the other girls touch, and how electric
it was.
