PART 7
Sammler/Manning House
Morning had come and Jessie couldn’t wait for the day to start. She buzzed around the house with a trantric smile plastered upon her face. As she was sitting at the table Grace and Lily joined her.
"What are you so smug about?" Grace wasn’t in a good mood.
"Nothing…"
"Did you have a good time last night?" Grace rolled her eyes at Lily’s interest in Jessie’s social life.
"It was alright." Jessie tried acting nonchalant about the night before, but her smile kept slipping through the plain face she was trying so hard to hold in place.
"What was the movie about?"
"It was a horror movie, I think that the concept was taken from a Japanese movie."
"That’s nice. I’m glad you had a good time."
Katie’s House
Katie knew that she had stepped into a forbidden paradise, but Jessie was all she could think of. She was her every breath. This was not going to go away now… Katie stood in front of her mirror, just staring at herself…
(KT)"You’re in love with her… I can’t be… I don’t even know her that well… How did this happen? Katie, you fool, how could you let this happen?"(/T)
School
Katie was standing next to her locker with Tad and Russell, the conversation was leading to nothing exciting and Katie was again feeling bored.
"No. I don’t believe ya." Russell stood back defending his right
"Come on, it’s true…" Tad was trying his hardest to persuade them, it was written all over his face.
"I think you talk a lot of shit Tad." Katie interrupted him from continuing his bargain pled
"Are you girls gonna stop your fighting?"
"Oh, hi Jessie..."Katie said semi-shocked
"Hi back."
"So what wool is Tad trying to pull over your eyes today?" Jessie asked as she poked Tad
"Ah, not wool, the truth. These people are just to blind to see the truth." Tad said proudly as he grabbed her hand in an attempt to stop her. She only pulled away from him, giving him a filthy look.
"Tad, you are one of the biggest dopes I think I’ve ever met. I’m gone!" Katie was intent on having one last dig at him before she turned her back and started off down the hallway.
"I’ll join you." Jessie spat out with excitement.
"Haha! Diced by your best friend and your girl…" Russell joked as he playfully gave Tad a hard slap on the back. Tad just shook his head and shrugged it off.
Katie walked a little further ahead of Jessie. Jessie decided that she would walk faster to catch Katie before she sped off into the distance.
"So did you have fun last night." Jessie said tugging at Katie’s jacket.
"I might have. But I will only know that." Katie replied with a snobbish look imprinted on her features.
"Really? Only you?"
"Does this place seem to be more unbearable day by day, or is it just me?" Katie tried to stray from the topic they were on
"I think it’s just you. I find it more and more bearable day by day." Jessie said sarcastically as she pulled on Katie’s arm.
Jessie led Katie to an empty classroom. She yanked Katie into the room and shut the door, putting her back up against the door. Katie was trying not to make eye contact with Jessie, so she was looking everywhere else, the floor, the wall, even the ceiling which had always interested her.
"So, Do you…" before Katie could catch up with her own words Jessie grabbed a hold of her and pulled the girl to her and pressed her lips against hers. Katie immediately began to feel like jelly. Jessie broke the kiss, leaving Katie longing for more.
